MICHAEL MOORE IS MY COUNTRY

This blog is based on the idea that Michael Moore stands for popular art, love of people and political courage. It is meant to elaborate on what is unique and precious about him and to defend him against slander and libel.

MOOREWATCHING THIS

To understand this post, please check the 18 comments at the "Downsized This" entry.

That's it. I surrendered just like a cheese-eating monkey : I registered.

At first I had planned to reply something like "You know, sweetheart, cavemen too thought the sun shone specially for them, but it just shone, that's all" to moorewatch Ann, and then I changed my mind (one of the main reasons being that that moorewatch Ann wouldn't have gotten my point anyway).

Sin is always enticing. I was itching to join anyway, so when Pyrogirl explicitly asked me to, I thought it would be just too funny to be the renegade, the traitor - the one who joined the other football team for fame, riches and 30 pieces of silver. I never liked this "Michjael Moreo" anyway, or whatever you spell it. On the other hand, I do love irony, absurdity - and Michael Moore, which is why I thought it wiser to mark my territory at moorewatch before any member of this surprisingly poetic site gets the idea to borrow my identity and wreaks havoc with it. Little Queenie, who are you going to "fuckface" now ?

To know whether I'll post or not is another story, though.

Thanks for the entertainment everyone. It's fun to be an outlaw, and as for nobody ever visiting my blog, well sweet Ann-onymous, it now looks like the Champs-Elysees at 6 PM, to keep up with the French metaphor. LMAO.

Hey, allowing anonymous comments on one's blog does seem to pay off.

wow. in reading your account of the ut cessation you had is like a victim statement taken by a cop. you being the victim. where is the crime here though?

and what's up with the obsession with 2/9/2003? ooh, something changed, and screwed up your paradigm? so much so that you insist like a pouty kid not getting cotton candy to remove anything on their site related to your idol? a tad excessive, and reeking of censorship. that's my opinion. like you care, right?

so you're an assistant professor of philosophy eh? is that a paying job? if so, does it wear on you that uneducated moore haters may be partially subsidizing your salary? oh my bad, that's ad hominem.

i'm sure you're probably a swell guy, should i ever have the opportunity to talk with you about something other than your passion. it's a free country still, so you're more than allowed to spread the good word if you feel that is what you are doing.

do you take some perverse pleasure in getting rises out of people? why do you pick the easiest target of partyliners and badgewearers? i'm not understanding this.

here's something else to think about in your spare time. explain away the 25 years of bipartisan yale oligarchy dominating the executive branch. connecting dots can be fun.

would you label me as a "little neo-con" as well?

Hi tehrawr - Thanks for visiting and welcome. Why should I be nasty, you said you were sure I was probably a swell guy, it's more than what I ever got from UT.

I'm no victim. If you will skim through my piece again, you'll see that it begins with believing UT was a pro-Moore site and ends with concluding it wasn't at all. So, I want them to stop the farce. No WMDs in Iraq, no Moore in UT. That's all there is to it. Where is the censorship ?

That's part of the anti-Moore madness you see : this belief that a single individual has more power somehow than a larger entity, be it a government, a corporation or a site. I couldn't censor them if I wanted to, dude.

As for uneducated Moore haters partially subsidizing my salary, I wouldn't say that's ad hominem. On the opposite, they should be commended for such a disinterested will to learn.
